With 30 years of experience as a medical practitioner, Dr Barri Phatarfod knows the importance of ensuring that any serious or urgent medical conditions are identified and rectified. Like Maslow's hierarchy of needs where food, air and shelter are fundamental to have before other needs are addressed, Dr Barri sees healthcare as following the same paradigm: Identify and address any medical or surgical abnormalities, work with your naturopath or other practitioners to address deficiencies and then finally see how your unique body type or dosha influences what will work best for you.
Dr Barri Phatarfod studied medicine at Monash University, graduating in 1988 and later trained in Ayurveda at Deepak Chopra's institute in California as well as under renowned Ayurvedic master Dr Pankaj Naram in India. She has served as a Director of the Easten Sydney Division of General Practice as well as a Councillor of NSW Australian Medical Association.
You can be confident that you will receive quality medical care from a trained expert.
